Dutch people are giving this year again more money on fireworks – NU.nl

That sets Leo Groeneveld of the Association Pyrotechnics the Netherlands on Saturday.

According to Groeneveld, the industry now really “out of the little valley”. Two years back it was 63 million euros spent on fireworks, in 2015, it was 65 million and 68 million treasure Groeneveld after a tour of the large vuurwerkimporteurs.

As always, there was a lot of demand for the so-called jeugdvuurwerk as asterisks, but especially the more expensive siervuurwerk turned out to be in demand. On the internet, gave people an average of 99 euro to be especially expensive, beautiful fireworks to buy. A tenner more than last year, says Groeneveld.

According to him, indicates that people “this is a tradition and want to preserve it and want to enjoy a small party with family and friends”.
