A58 closed for hours due to an accident with truck – Volkskrant

Traffic on the A58 (Breda – Eindhoven) this morning in the direction of Eindhoven facing serious delays due to an accident with a truck. A truck with container on its side and the road is largely closed.

It may take until 14:00 before the road is completely cleared. The container was loaded with tons of nails and after salvage the asphalt needs to be repaired, reported the ANWB.

The accident happened near the intersection Perch on the east side of Tilburg. It was around 9:00 am a backup of 16 kilometers and the delay was 2 hours.

Traffic is advised to drive via the A27, A59 and A2. Initially got the traffic from the Randstad to South Limburg advised to drive through Antwerp, but that drivers can better not do it because it is also established in the Antwerp ring by accident.
