Two motorcyclists were killed Sunday in traffic. A 34-year-old man died in New Zeeland and St. Joosland, just below Middelburg. A 61-year-old man died in his hometown Haaksbergen in Overijssel.
The victim in Zeeland is a 34-year-old man from a village in the municipality of Vlissingen. He hit mid-afternoon of the road on the Weizichtweg, which runs along the A58. It is not known why that happened. The man slid across the road and collided with a road sign. An ambulance took him to a hospital in Rotterdam, but he succumbed to his injuries. At the accident no one else was involved. The road was closed more than two hours, police said.
The 61-year-old motorcyclist from Haaksbergen clashed in his hometown against a van. Emergency services could not save the man. The accident happened on the Ellen Broekweg in Overijssel place. Police do not know what exactly happened.
Drenthe hit a motorcyclist injured in a collision. The 46-year-old man from Ommen rode on the N375 between Pesse and Meppel. He did not favor a taxi van that crossed the road and collided thereby against the side. The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital in Zwolle. It is not known how he stands.
Between Zundert and the border with Belgium was a motorcyclist (50) Saturday by a car. The motorist, who had no license, saw too late that there are cars in front of him stood still because someone wanted to decline. He swerved to the other lane, but rode the motorcycle. That hit over the head.
