Coalition parties VVD and PvdA prepared a military contribution to the international coalition fighting against terrorist Islamic State (IS). Netherlands currently does not belong to the list of countries that will soon attack opens on IS, called coalition of the willing .

For the Labour Party is certainly not impossible that the Netherlands will make a military contribution thus PvdA Member of Parliament Michael Servaes.
“The Netherlands should make it clear that we want to do plenty of combat IS with. Or that humanitarian, logistical or military is doing. We keep all options open. “
