At a large fire in the Moddermanstraat Rotterdam thirteen wounded. Two people were hospitalized, one of whom seriously is critical, let the police know.
About 150 houses are so badly damaged that residents can not return tonight. Sniffer dogs were used to search the building, reports the Safety. No one is reported missing, but police do not rule out that someone else is found in the building, said a spokesman. Emergency services are currently conducting an inventory of the damage to the complex. Homes are boarded up too. Tonight is decided which residents can return and who is not yet.
At least two homes were completely burnt after a suspected gas explosion. In dozens of homes in the neighborhood are the windows out and are appalled facades. Part of the building was evacuated this afternoon. The injured were taken to a hospital in the area. Around 18:00 the fire gave the signal fire master.

More than a hundred people are taken care of the apartment building in nearby Good Herderkerk let NRC-spot reporter, Esther Rosenberg know. Residents heard two bangs; one very loud bang and then another.
Under Neighbor worries
Esther Rosenberg spoke with Nora Hanselaar (63), who said she lives directly under the house where the gas explosion occurred. Above her, a man lives alone. Just recently she called to him after a leak. Hanselaar “He was manic depressive. A few weeks ago he was discharged from a hospital. “How do they know? “I know everyone here.” Hanselaar had a girlfriend from Leiden to visit, she visited the Market Hall. At home she saw the fire trucks, ambulances. She worries about her house, her property, her new car parked in front of the door. She called her sister. There she sleeps tonight.
The affected complex consists of forty homes. The street is located in Rotterdam Schiebroek (maps).
