The skipper who has been found since 6 February was missing on the Westerschelde. Passersby saw his body floating in a jetty at the height of the village Hoofdplaat and warned the emergency

The man was skipper of barge Rick. In early February it capsized in Breskens, about 6 kilometers east of Breskens. A sand dredger was to overcrowding on the ship, when it suddenly capsized. On board were three people, two of them were rescued. The 35-year-old skipper remained missing.
On the basis of dental records established that the Sunday found remains of the man.
