It seems that the perpetrators on July 13 in Amsterdam, the 30-year-old Stefan Regalo Eggermont shot dead, thought they had someone else for themselves. The Public Prosecutor (OM) has strong indications that there is a mistaken identity. That made Justice announced today.

Eggermont was assassinated in his car on a Sunday morning in the Conrad Street, near the center of Amsterdam. Police and justice assume that the murder is linked to a series of killings in the underworld, but that the 30-year old from Amsterdam was not the intended target. Extensive investigations showed no link with the criminal or potential business conflicts.

For the murder, no one has been arrested. For the golden tip that leads to resolution of the case, the judiciary has offered a reward of 15,000 euros.

The Detection Program Verzocht on NPO1 pays attention to the case tonight.
