SP: No travel money for religious pupil – Wedding

The SP wants the government to stop reimbursing transportation of “religious students”. The money could be better for the carriage of disabled children.

That’s SP MP Jasper van Dijk proposals Monday during a consultation on education and Article 23 of the Constitution. Van Dijk will travel money is no longer of this time. “Municipalities sometimes pay tens of thousands of dollars because parents are not satisfied with a school nearby. According to him, about 6500 children make use of the scheme, which costs 20 million euros per year.
