Netherlands honors veterans: Veterans Day 2016 can be followed live on Omroep West – Omroep West

  THE HAGUE –
 Saturday is again: the annual Veterans. In The Hague honored the 117,000 veterans who have served in various military missions.
 


 
The Dutch troops were active during World War II, in the former Dutch East Indies, the Balkans and Afghanistan. In addition, there are also Dutch served in Chad, Korea, Cambodia and Haiti.

At the opening of Veterans Saturday in the Knights are like every year King Willem-Alexander, Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Defence Minister Jeanine Hennis present.
