Rabobank helps by storms affected farmers – Omroep Brabant

  UTRECHT – Rabobank wants the Brabant and Limburg meet farmers who have suffered damage from the storms of last week. The bank looks at whether customers include damage may obtain a bridge loan or the ability to defer redemptions.
 

The storm with fist-sized hailstones caused Thursday for a huge havoc on farmers in North Brabant and Limburg and more than 100 million loss.

The Rabobank is a leading financier of the agricultural sector and to assist the affected businesses in the short term to prevent and alleviate financial problems.

No relief Hague
From The Hague is no money for the victims. “Farmers can and must insure this,” said a spokesman for Secretary Martijn van Dam (PvdA) on Wednesday morning. “Moreover, we have the money.”

The SP has asked questions in parliament Wednesday) to the Secretary of State and the Minister of Economic Affairs on the extensive damage caused by hail in Southeast Brabant. The group wants to know if the government provides assistance.
