The company Skyview Attractions in Rotterdam wants to build a Ferris wheel. The huge steel wheel must be the largest in the Netherlands. The council is, local residents are against it.
The Ferris wheel builder dropped in view of a location next to the Erasmus Bridge and makes it thereby not easy. Bewonersorganisatie Scheepvaartkwartier was already on edge by the announced construction of Dutch tallest residential tower, the Zalmhaven Tower (218 meters). A briefing earlier this month threatened to immediately get out of hand in hand.
