The crown of Royal Ahold in Zaandam is put in the new logo on the head of the lion of the Belgian Delhaize. That shines from this weekend at the headquarters of Ahold in Zaandam.
Saturday was formally completed the merger between Ahold and Delhaize. Monday is the listing of the two companies together.

The Ahold site Monday morning from the air. However, it is redirected to the new joint site, which Ahold blue and red Delhaize place made green.
The site Delhaize however, continue to work and at home is silent on the merger . That has to do with the fact that Delhaize is also the name of the main Belgian supermarket chain, where Ahold domestically Albert Heijn as flagship.
Ahold, Delhaize is on 17 November, for the first quarter results of the combined company known. Before then be published on August 25 are the results of the first half of 2016, but that are still on the loose companies since the merger was completed after the end of the reporting period.
