Tineke Strik is leader for the Green in the elections of the Senate. The members of Green Left today have chosen Strik at the congress of the party in Amersfoort.
The other candidate for the party leadership was Ruard Ganzevoort, as well as all Strik senator for the Greens. Bow is the new chairman for the Green in the Senate, succeeding Tof Thissen. Strik’s lawyer since 2007 in the Senate. Before that she was an alderman in Wageningen.
Green Left leader Bram van Ojik called left on Saturday to take a stand against the “right recipe” of the cabinet, which he only lead to more inequality and pollution. ‘Links to crawl out of his shell, the dial offer an attractive prospect, “Van Ojik said in his speech at the conference” The spur debate forging alliances, outside and inside the parliament.. “
