From Kharkiv in Ukraine this morning a military transport plane left with onboard one coffin with the remains of the victims of the air crash with flight MH17. This confirms the Ministry of Defence.
The device is expected this afternoon around 16:00 on the Eindhoven Air Base. It is the eighth time that arrive human remains at the crash site. At the ceremony in Eindhoven Minister Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert (Defence) and Minister Ronald Plasterk (Interior) present. For the ceremony are relatives invited.
The remains are then brought for identification to the Corporal Oudheusden Barracks in Hilversum. When the disaster in eastern Ukraine lost on July 17 last year, all 298 passengers of the Boeing 777 Malaysia Airlines life, including 196 Dutch. Three of them – all Dutchman – have not yet been identified.
