Appeal to Minister: guarantee privacy – De Gelderlander

THE HAGUE – The new Minister of Security and Justice, Ard van der Steur, has no intention of bills to put in the refrigerator to have a discussion first about privacy.

In an open letter calling organizations, professors and journalists him on that discussion or to go to. Reported Wedding.

The open letter was signed by a group of thirty organizations, including Bits of Freedom, the Dutch Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Dutch section of Amnesty International.

According to the letter, the cabinet ‘increasingly’ measures which large amounts collected data about citizens and processed, even if people not suspected of crimes. The letter writers want to do four laws of table possible invasion of privacy.
