Car with explosives leads to long queues on the A27 – NU.nl

The car hit by nine o’clock in a single vehicle crash at the height of Noordeloos off the road.

When the police arrived on the scene, officers noted that there may be explosives in the car layers. This was the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) tipped off.

Perhaps the explosives were intended to commit a thud cracking.

Experts from the EOD noted as VID in the course of the afternoon it was indeed explosives. Mayor Coert van Ee of Zederik where Noordeloos covered, reports just after 15:30 pm by Twitter that “the explosive immediately be brought to explosion.”

Department of Public Works says that closing A27 is expected to last until 17:00.

Around 12:00 pm a traffic jam in the direction Gorinchem. This is at the beginning of the afternoon in large part solved by the police one lane temporarily dropped open. But by order of the police the lane had to close again. This has a number of motorists waiting for a few hours.

The oncoming traffic will be diverted at the exit Everdingen.

In the other direction cause viewers a small file. Rijkswaterrstaat asks motorists especially not to step on the brake to look at the work of the EOD, because this could cause dangerous situations
