A tragic accident in Friesland has claimed the lives of the father (49) of a family from Winsum that of mother, son and two friends in Hoornsterzwaag was an antique car festival.
The 44-year-old mother is in critical condition in hospital, the 18-year-old son and two friends (24 years from Zoutkamp and 21 years from Wetsinge) were slightly injured.
The people ran Wednesday five of us from a campsite along the road to the festival when they were hit from behind. The driver (20 years from Akkrum) was arrested. He had not been drinking, according to a breath test. He is still in custody.
