Some visitors to the fair in the Gelderland town of Didam tonight anxious moments passed as a fairground attraction crashed. About seven young people were more than a half hour to tens of meters altitude in a gondola on its head stuck in a so-called booster.
© Maik Steenkamp. Emergency services and an air ambulance were hastily invoked, but eventually the young people could be brought to safety, police said. They are collected in order to recover from the shock.
