For the first time, North Brabant is an executive board without the Christian Democrats it. VVD, SP, PvdA and D66 form a ‘social-liberal “coalition. They made tonight the names of the candidates deputies. Their administrative agreement they present Tuesday.
So the Christian Democrats end up in opposition. That role they are not used: both the CDA and have CSF precursor as long as the batch always been part of the Executive Council in Brabant
At first it seemed that the ruling coalition of the CDA, VVD and. SP would go through the next four years. However, negotiations clapped by disagreement over the construction of the last stretch of the Eindhoven ring road, the so-called ‘Diamond’. For the SP was to build a highway through the green Dommeldal unacceptable, CDA was just very supportive.
Then, the SP was in negotiations ‘traded’ for D66, but ultimately it was therefore the CDA which fell by the wayside.
