According to a spokesman for the safety of the fire broke out shortly after midnight in the central wing of the building. There was thick smoke in free. Around half past three the fire was extinguished.
Since the fire a diesel and petrol air smelled was scaled up to a large fire. 37 residents were evacuated but have since returned to their home. The seven occupants of the central wing were not allowed back to their own room, but could apply to inmates.
The spokesman could not say whether the fire slightly has to do with protests close to the arrival of the refugee center. The municipality will see later today with the owner of the property or the reception of asylum is jeopardized.
The building, a former nursing home, is now inhabited temporarily anti-squatting.
