“Woman from Werkendam did not commit attack in Efteling ‘- BBC News

WERKENDAM – The 25-year-old woman from Werkendam who was arrested on June 21 because they sympathized with IS was never planning to commit an attack. That says her lawyer Mark Broere.

The woman was released after six weeks but is still suspect. “Justice, however, took the suspicion initially very seriously. The file shows that the stories have been a touch more attention-grabbing talk.” Efteling would be mentioned as a possible target of an attack.

We knew nothing
A spokeswoman for the Efteling Thursday morning indicated that the message about “annoying “was to read.” We knew nothing about it. the public authorities determine the threat level in the Netherlands. They saw no reason to inform us or to take additional measures. ” Efteling said to rely on the knowledge and skills of the security organizations and always closely in contact with the intelligence services. “The next few days we will really have put a few things in a row. But that’s something between the security forces and the Efteling. We make no further statements about it.”

Broere think that the security forces also do know that there was no reason for panic. “If the dossier actually indications had been that there would be a plot, then had the right its not yet released.”
