The return of remains was surrounded with the same ceremony as in previous times. A military honor guard took the six cases from the military unit, and brought them to the waiting hearses. Who left under police and military police escort to the Corporal Oudheusden Barracks in Hilversum. Here the remains to be further identified and then transferred to the immediate family.
The ceremony was attended by over 150 relatives, Prime Minister Rutte and ministers Asscher Hennis and Koenders. Were also representatives of the States General and embassies of the countries concerned present. Around 18:00 came the six hearses in Hilversum.
