Secretary Fred Teeven denies that he has had involvement with the placement of asylum seekers in the Drenthe village of Orange. For that reason alone, there is no conflict of interest or the appearance thereof. He responded to allegations of the PVV that he had woken up this appearance because Teeven the owner knows of the houses in which the asylum seekers

Teeven said Wednesday in parliament that the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) is independent agreements with the municipalities.
