Terror suspects arrested in Arnhem and Eindhoven – NU.nl

The national office of the Public Prosecutor (OM) reports that one of the suspects is a 26-year-old returned Syriëganger from Arnhem, which was connected to Al-Nusra Front, an organization affiliated with al Qaeda.

The two others are men of 26 and 30 years. Justice suspects one of them the financial support of jihadists in Syria.

The three men are suspected to be involved in the preparation of terrorist offenses and that they wanted to join Al-Nusra Front. The investigation is ongoing since the summer and started in response to information from the AIVD.

On October 30, there were in the context of this study searches in nine homes in Arnhem, Doesburg, Rotterdam and Eindhoven. Then there was, according to the OM no reason to keep people. While these actions are computers, tablets, media and mobile phones confiscated. This also happened with the passports of six men.
