Seuren is an experienced climber and lived for years in Switzerland. He was in the accident with two other climbers set off.
The body of Seuren was contained in a crevasse on the Italian side of the border.
The Royal Dutch Climbing and Mountaineering Association (NKBV) calls the death of Seuren “a great loss for the Dutch climbing and mountaineering
