Support for surveillance eavesdropping lawyers – Telegraaf.nl

The proposal to eavesdropping on lawyers henceforth to be independent tests, has the support in parliament. Anyway PvdA, SP and CDA have agreed to a proposal of the Cabinet to do so. Following is a statement from the court to stop this within six months if no monitoring is

In the SP , the State must now stop bugging until that key is. Governing party PvdA would prefer that the minister now the regulator CTIVD already late keys or a tap is justified. Also coalition party VVD thinks that lawyers in particular cases may be bugged, but do not yet on supervision. The government however is still evaluating a form for that.

Labour MP Jeroen Recourt wants the cabinet to make quick work of the review. “The judge has an important standard to be back,” he says. Ronald van Raak of the SP’s eavesdropping should continue only to prevent attacks. “But now many things swept under national security.” The SP’s want a discussion about what does or does not fall below.

The CDA believes that intelligence agencies should have adequate powers to the national to ensure safety. “The tapping of lawyers may belong to this, it is fine that this power now being substantiated additional safeguards,” says CDA Raymond Knops.
