The 4-year-old boy that afternoon had fallen into Lemmer water, despite all efforts of rescuers deceased.

There was a large organized search with divers and a police helicopter. The little boy of four was found in the water at the Brekkenweg, but help to no avail, despite the efforts of the ambulance.
