‘Collision explains grauwsluier about the whole community of the Rows’ – Omroep Brabant

ROWS – The village of Rows is shocked by the death of Henriette and Bert van der Veeken. They came Thursday night in a collision on the Bredaseweg in Tilburg.

"There is in Rows of no one who is the family Van der Veeken don’t know,” says mayor Jan Boelhouwer. “These are prominent people in our village. What happened, explains a grauwsluier about the whole community here.”

Added value
Henriette and Bert van der Veeken both worked in education. Bert was forty years old and working as a teacher in Integral Child Centre The Wereldwijzer in Dordrecht. Because of its fortieth anniversary, he was earlier this week is still in the limelight. Henriëtte was already more than fifteen years at primary school Beagles in Rows. They gave a lesson in group 3 and was also the intern supervisor.

In connection with the deadly collision are two of the Tilburg brothers held. The one is the owner of the car that Henriette and Bert van der Veeken were hit by a car. The other would be behind the wheel when the collision on the Bredaseweg took place.

The motorist drove off after the accident. According to a friend, with whom he after the accident aanklopte, he drove in a panic. He knew, according to him, ‘don’t do what he had to do it”.
