GeenPeil start action: vote not ‘traitors’ because of Ukraine – Elsevier

GeenPeil, one of the activist groups behind the initiative to Ukraine referendum, starts a campaign against political parties 'that the democracy have betrayed'. The reason: the fact that prime minister Mark Rutte (VVD) will get more time to propose a solution for the EU association agreement with Ukraine.

GeenPeil want people to convince people to at the general election in march to vote on the VVD, PvdA or D66 or on other parties that are complicit in the ignoring of the results, according to the announcement.

'We will not piepelen'

'More than half a year after april 6, we are still waiting for a reply on the outcome. GeenPeil is not piepelen. It is time for a voorjaarsoffensief. We will again conduct a campaign.' The action group wants the elections 'vacuümbombarderen with the story of the betrayed democracy', it sounds. In april they voted in a large majority for a consultative referendum on the treaty. But the turnout was a paltry 32 percent, but just enough for a valid result. The opkomstdrempel was on 30 percent.

The Second Room wanted for november 1, a reaction of the cabinet on the outcome of the referendum. After negotiations with opposition parties such as D66 gets Rutte is now longer the time will get an answer to the formulation – while it is true Alexander Pechtold was that during the General Political Considerations, with a vote came in which Mean a deadline was set.

GeenPeil wants the campaign finance through a crowdfund action, so that the 'war chest' is sufficient gespekt to a few million people to persuade you not on the 'democratieverraders' to vote. Their alternative? For example, ONLY or MAINLY under the leadership of Jan Roos – is one of the protagonists in the run-up to the referendum in april. 'No=no', says the usa and EUROPE. An invitation for a consultation with the opposition was the party.
