At 7: 30 am was a big part of the A2 motorway, again to be released. However, there is a delay of a few tens of minutes.
In the accident was a truck in contact with a passenger car. This shot through the median and came to this on the other side. Four of the five lanes were closed. Through traffic runs because of this delay, which could be up to several tens of minutes. There hit, no one injured.
On the A16 is now also a one-lane road released. Between junction Ridderkerk and the Drechttunnel it is, however, still stuck on a few kilometers. Also here, the delay is still up to tens of minutes.
Fog
It is not clear whether the accidents are related to the dense fog. The KNMI has for the provinces of Flevoland, Utrecht, South-Holland and North-Brabant, a code yellow is issued. Local can be very foggy, with visibility of less than two hundred metres. Locally it is even so foggy that the visibility is limited to ninety metres.
