Motorcycle clubs Black Sheep and Veterans not criminal according to Justice – NOS

The motorcycle clubs Black Sheep and Veterans are not criminal. The ministry of Security and Justice writes to the lawyer of both clubs that a study of the Public Ministry have shown that they are not involved in serious crime.

The ministry stressed, however, that it is not excluded that individual members are involved in organised crime. But that’s not gonna happen in clubs, says Justice. It has 150 studies have been conducted.

The Black Sheep and Veterans have been fighting for years against the accusation that they are a criminal organization. Lawyer Michael Ruperti thinks that on the basis of the letter, the clubs of the black list of suspicious motorcycle clubs can be achieved.

He does not exclude claims for damages will follow. “The last few years, raids have been in the clubhouses and members of the motorcycle clubs which the government worked, have been fired. All unjustly so.”

He gives as an example a gevangenisbewaarder in Lelystad, the netherlands who last year was fired because he is president of Black Sheep. The Veterans are former military personnel who, because of their club membership may not be permitted to ride during the parade on veteran’s day.
