Daan and Sophie solve Shem and Tess off as popular children's names – AD.nl

Daan and Sophie in 2014 have recaptured their lead from popular children’s names. They dissolve Shem and Tess off, that in 2013 the name list of the Social Insurance Bank (SVB) argued. Last year, 836 girls were named Sophie. Among newborn boys recorded the civil affairs department 751 times the name Daan.



When Tess girl names tumbled out of the top position in 2013 to fifth place. The top three consists of the familiar trio Sophie, Emma and Julia, a trio that dominates the rankings since 2008.
