The study, conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) and the Land Registry Wednesday.
In December of existing homes were 2 percent higher compared to the same period in 2013. This is the price level of private owner-occupied housing as high as in May 2013.
Compared to the peak in the housing market by August 2008 the price level is still 19 percent lower. Compared to the valley in June 2013 prices are 3.1 percent higher.

Closed Monday was already reported by the Land Registry that the property sales are sharply drawn in December. There were 25 265 homes were sold, an increase of 63 percent. Throughout 2014 home sales rose 40 percent.
The largest increase was seen in North Holland, with an average of 2.7 percent more expensive homes. This was mainly due to the housing market in Amsterdam, where homes were 5.1 percent more expensive. Friesland house prices down just the most with -1.2 percent.
After detached houses, all types of housing have become more expensive. The detached houses were on average 0.3 percent cheaper. Apartments and terraced houses were 1.5 percent more expensive.
