The Amsterdam Orthodox Jewish cheder school will not open today. That the board of the school in an email to the parents know, reports the NIS. The school has about 200 students. They come from all over the Netherlands.

Chief Rabbi Binyomin Jacobs says there is no concrete evidence that the school is threatened, but because the Jewish schools also close in Belgium, he finds it prudent to keep the school closed. “The board is ultimately responsible for the safety,” as he would have mailed, reports the NIS.

Last night it was announced that the Jewish schools in Antwerp and Brussels Friday remain closed. This happens as a result of the anti-terror action in Belgium. There are three Jewish schools in the Netherlands, they are all three in Amsterdam. Or other schools today also keep the doors closed is not known
