MOERGESTEL – A truck from Italy on Tuesday night around quarter to ten on the A58 at Moergestel rammed a car arrow. Initially it was thought that the driver was injured, but he eventually came unscathed. According to a bystander, he was taken to the police. The havoc on the highway is great.
The accident happened on the highway in the direction of Eindhoven. Rob Dasrath drove his truck behind the truck that rammed the car arrow. “Plenty of time was indicated that we had to reduce our speed, and that the right lane was closed. Then I went to the left, the driver stayed in front of me at 90 miles per hour in the right lane.”
Driver does not
“I have repeatedly signaled with my lights and honked, but he responded to anything. Then he drove so full by the arrow chariot” says Dasrath. “When I spoke to him after the accident as he said only that he was okay.”
The roadway between Tilburg East and Moergestel completely closed. The road needs to be repaired, like the guardrail where the truck after the collision has come against. This will probably take up to three hours on Tuesday night.
In the direction of travel to Tilburg was a lane temporarily closed. The arrow car was on the highway due to work on the guardrail. The truck carried flowers.
Redirect
Traffic coming from Tilburg, will be diverted via the A2 and A65 direction Den Bosch.
