‘Police must be multicultural, otherwise, we will lose support’ – NOS

The National Police must be more to hire people with a multicultural background, otherwise it loses the police support in the society. That said Max Daniel, commissioner of police and the North of the Netherlands and general commander of National Staff large-Scale Research, in an interview with the Volkskrant.

Daniel says that people with a multicultural background in it can play a major role in the police. “I’m looking for people that can explain why a part of the society thinks that they are ethnically profiled and that we are racist. People who can tell you how that image of the police can tilt.”
