Justice demands six and a half years and four and a half years in prison against main suspects Danny K. and Dick Pretty in major racketeering case Andes, for leading a criminal organization that for years violent crime would have committed and systematically major crime profits would have laundered.
By Willem Holleeder progresses justice and a half years in prison because he would have played a supporting role in the attempted extortion and abuse of the then leader of the Amsterdam Hells Angels and the threat of crime reporter Peter R. de Vries.
In addition, prosecutors claim Koos Plooij and Willem Bos that Holleeder still is serving the remainder of the sentence of nine years he had received in 2009 in his big racketeering case, and he has served two-thirds. Justice wants him also for the remaining days of 1095 goes to jail because has not complied with the condition not to commit crimes during his provisional release.
For seven co-defendants, including three (ex) girlfriends Danny K. and two watch dealers, wants justice sentences ranging from four months to two years. In the vision of justice have career criminal K. and former top fighter Freedom years led a criminal organization that violent crime (including extortion) and money laundering was intended. The watch merchants, (ex-) girlfriends and others would have helped them “to stay under the radar.”
Ali B. and a clown
Prosecutors Plooij- and Forest names in their indictment further the more than twenty share files by detectives who had gathered in three and a half years of research and especially where Danny K. Dick and Pretty colorful array of offenses ranging is accused of numerous abuses (by Free) through extortion threat (both Free as Danny K.). K. would also ex-girlfriends have put pressure instance terminate a relationship or resign.
The very many, for years wiretapped conversations that form the core of the evidence, make according to prosecutor Plooij- ‘an authentic impression, “especially because” the defendants themselves unobserved imagined. The defense of the accused that they exaggerated in their conversations, Plooij- called “absurd”. The conversations with hidden microphones in a room behind a watch trade; in cars and for example in a lunchroom. Phones are routinely bugged.
For justice is certain that Danny K. indeed 2.7 to 3.2 million on display at an ex that he spent vast sums and his (ex) girlfriend expensive cars and holidays gift did, plus a children for 21,000 euros where rapper Ali B. and performed a clown.
That K. legal income had, inter alia, trade in expensive watches, the prosecution does not believe.
Expensive travel
In the morning passed the business around three (ex) girlfriends through whom Danny K. large amounts would have laundered – which also they are sued. A second ex went on vacation to the Netherlands Antilles and EuroDisney – including ‘breakfast with Disney characters.
Angela H., the ex-wife of former football player Patrick Kluivert, K. had a relationship when he moved into a posh penthouse in Hilversum, that he under-known Dutch football millionaires and popular glamor interior designer Eric Kuster left rooting for tens of thousands of euros (“I just want to sit pretty.”).
The prosecutors call it “totally unacceptable” that Angela H. paid the establishment, because Danny K. wiretapped conversations hinted that he himself paid. He would also expensive travel, business class often have paid to the Maldives, Dubai, Paris and Aruba, plus many expensive siewraden.
Mega Process
That K. also a getaway to a concert of ‘Toppers’ and others paid, in honor of an anniversary of Van H., stands for Justice not fixed. The arguments which the lawyers their clients will attempt to exonerate his spread over weeks. On February 19, the court hopes to formally close the mega process, so it can follow the ruling in March.
Willem Holleeder continues until that time, incidentally anyway in prison because he is in custody for the big new thing in which it is alleged that he gave the orders for the liquidation of the merchant hash and real estate Kees Houtman and criminal innkeeper Thomas van der Bijl. Danny K. was on parole at large. Dick Freedom awaits the outcome of his case down voluntarily in prison because he fears being shot
