Omroep Gelderland reports that it is a 27 year old man from Cameroon. The Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) showed the regional broadcaster that the man had grabbed a fire extinguisher and a pole was ripped out of the ground. That he wanted to go to attack people.
The cops solved first a warning shot. When the man did not respond to that, he was shot in the leg. He was taken to the hospital.
The rest of the asylum seekers’ center has been returned, police said. Detectives do further research.
