Car comes under train at Maarheeze: No trains between Maarheeze and Weert – Omroep Brabant

  MAARHEEZE – s Maarheeze and the Limburg Weert Sunday a car under a
 passenger train arrived. Here, a man was killed. He sat in the car, attach a spokeswoman for Public Safety.

 

The train came from the direction of Maarheeze and intercepted the car at full speed. There were about a hundred passengers on the train when the fatal accident happened. They were unharmed and were picked up by another train.

As a result of the collision reason temporarily stop trains between Eindhoven and Weert. Travellers should take an hour late.

The accident took place at around half past twelve Maarheezerhuttendijk in Weert, near the Brabant border. Fire departments from the area marched off to where the train is driven onto the car.

The identity of the victim, a man, is not yet known. Police are investigating the collision, said the spokeswoman for the fire
