Rotterdam Police shoot man down – Dutch Newspaper

 
 


 

ROTTERDAM (Reuters) – Police in Rotterdam has shot an armed man in the night from Sunday to Monday. Agents felt compelled to pull their gun after the man had a gun pointed at them. He was hit in the leg.

The shooting took place after officers received a report of a robbery at the Bloemenlaan in Rotterdam South. When she went to take a closer look, they saw a man run away on the Vinkenbaan, around the corner from the Bloemenlaan. They wanted to keep him, but at that moment he pulled the gun and he founded the cops.

The man is charged with a gunshot wound in his leg to the Hospital Rotterdam. It is unclear how he added. He is arrested. There is also arrested a second man. He was involved in the robbery in which the police received a report. The Department also is investigating the shooting.

Shortly after the shooting in Rotterdam agents had to pull their weapon in an arrest in Vlaardingen. In addition, no one was injured.
