Suspect extortion case family De Mol is released – RTV Noord-Holland

BLARICUM Dirk M., the 70-year-old racketeer John and Linda de Mol, is released. The Utrecht court reports today.

The suspension takes effect Friday. The man is accused by the prosecution of attempted extortion and threatening the family De Mol.


 

The man’s lawyer asked the judge in chambers to suspension of pre-trial detention because of reporting of the psychiatrist and psychologist that the man suffers from a severe form of dementia. The prosecution has announced to investigate whether he came by his illness to his actions

The health of the man is clearly deteriorated during the personality test. Experts expect that his health will deteriorate further if the man remains in detention.


 

The pantry thereby explained as special conditions that the man must surrender his passport, may have no contact with the family De Mol and that he must appear at the hearing on 18 June.


 

Update: Linda de Mol shall abide by the decision of the prosecution to let Dirk M. free. Reported that its management just to RTL Boulevard.
