Sunday a major fire broke out there. Two people were dying from the flames and three were wounded. One injured, the situation worrisome, the other two have been discharged from the hospital.
After the fire twelve people were placed with relatives. The crisis team is trying to accommodate them as quickly as possible in Nieulande.
The other 25 living temporarily in other locations of Ter Weel and can stay there as long as they want. The care group expects everybody sleeps in Krabbendijke early next week.
To Weel stressed that everything is in consultation with the family. The residents get all the help they need and staff is a psychologist available.
Research
The fire in Nieulande broke out Sunday afternoon in an apartment on the second floor. One resident died instantly, the second victim, a 92-year-old woman, died on the night of Sunday to Monday from her injuries.
