Minister Edith Schippers of Health recently wrote to parliament in health tourism benefits seen for affordability and quality of the Dutch health care. She wants to encourage more hospitals to set up. Among other Amsterdam’s VU University Medical Center, the Red Cross Hospital in Beverwijk and the Atrium Medical Center Heerlen confirm that they have plans to accommodate the influx of foreign to increase patients.
