Cristina Deutekom, one of the biggest Dutch opera singers, yesterday after a short illness deceased in the VU hospital in her hometown Amsterdam. That her former manager disclosed. The world-famous soprano was 82 years.
Deutekom Saturday made an unfortunate fall, fell into a coma and died last night at the hospital. According to her former manager Peter Alferink she was until the end of her life, “spiritual good at.”
