Secretary Fred Teeven of Justice last weekend flew to Congo to help children in pick which have been adopted by Dutch parents. However, the country refused to let the children go, the Volkskrant writes.
According to the newspaper Teeven wanted to do something for the thirteen couples sometimes wait two years to their legitimate sons and daughters. The African country decided in 2013 to suspend all foreign adoptions. The children who were assigned to Dutch parents were not allowed to leave the country from one moment to the other.
The country will fear for children, but there is no question of according Teeven in the Netherlands.
