An elderly couple was robbed yesterday in Tilburg tens of thousands of dollars that they were carrying in a shopping trolley. May have seen the two robbers that the couple of 82 and 83 years had taken the money from a bank in the mall Heyhoef and they followed their victims, the police reported today.
The robbery happened at the end of the afternoon in the Reeshof Park. The couple had taken money and groceries, which they were carrying in their blue shopping trolley. Two unknown men jumped on the Reeshofdijk out of the bushes and robbed the man and woman, while falling to the ground.
The woman was slightly injured her left knee. Then the perpetrators fled in a car that was ready. The man went in vain behind the perpetrators.
