Rijnsweerd the top ten files of this year stormed inside. Junction on the A28 between Amersfoort and Utrecht is in fifth place, which last year was still 20th, when it comes to traffic congestion. Which rose by as much as 63 percent.

Also Eembrugge, a little beyond the point where the A1 between Amsterdam and Amersfoort and Utrecht A27 converge to Almere, scores high. Last year Eembrugge was still eighth, now third. Traffic flow increased here by 27 percent. Terbregseplein intersection of Hook of Holland Gouda on the A20 in 2014 was the same as last year even though the location with the most problems.

Widened roads
Utrecht nodes are harassed by the widened roads before the nodes. The A28 was widened and therefore the plane will pass through Amersfoort nice, but everything comes Utrecht together again and stripped the extra on there. Only after the construction of the ring road noordeliijke can it come to an end, Patrick Potgraven predicts the vid.

Also the A1 between Amsterdam and Hilversum got an extra hour lane allowing traffic that flows better, but then again in extra congestion at Eembrugge leads.

As many files
This year there were throughout the Netherlands about the same files as in 2013, made the Traffic Information Service (VID) announced today. This is an end to the decline in traffic congestion in recent years.

In recent years, increased traffic congestion (length times length) considerably. Between 2007 and 2012 it decreased by 50 percent. According to the VID this came as more wider highways and new tunnels were constructed.

“In the first half of 2014 was quieter than last year, but in the second half just busier,” says the VID. Especially the busier fall months compared to 2013 are striking because it was drier in the months of September to November than in the same period a year earlier, according to the service.
