Although fireworks officially still should not be chipped, the number of complaints about nuisance fireworks has increased significantly. The counter to the hotline Monday vuurwerkoverlast.nl stood at 25,000. These are more than 10,000 complaints on Sunday

Fireworks may be sold in the shop since Monday. From then poured into the complaints, says initiator Arno Bonte. Hourly certainly five hundred reports came in from around the country. People complained mostly about loud noises, pets who feared vandalism and fireworks.
The hotline was created by 25 local Green Left fractions, including those of Spotted in Rotterdam. Anyone who suffers from fireworks can make themselves heard since Wednesday. Reports can be submitted.

It is the third year in a row that citizens can grumble at this hotline. Last year there were nearly 90,000 complaints. Early next year, the House and 25 mayors get a report about the fireworks complaints
