It will be exciting around the end position of the 3FM Serious Request action. The counter was tonight at 6,301,612 Euros, just a little over a year ago when it was won on the penultimate evening 6,232,307 euros for charity.
Last year, the action brought record sum 12.3 million euros. According to a spokeswoman, the question is whether that amount this year surpassed. The margin of EUR 250,000 that was last night, has largely disappeared.
DJs Gerard Ekdom, Coen Swijnenberg and Domien Verschuren down since Thursday night at the Glass House on the Grote Markt in Haarlem. They turn request images to raise money for women and girls who are victims of sexual violence in conflict zones. On Christmas Eve, the DJs can leave the Glass House.
