Hundreds ADO supporters gathered tonight in The Hague for a ‘fanborrel’ and a stroll through the city. This appeared also a lot of police officers and riot vans that followed the football fans. The supporters challenged the police, but major incidents were out.

The motto of the campaign was “We no contest, as they (the police, ed.), No strike”. The organization had participants via Facebook called to keep the peace during the walk through The Hague:

“Since national interest of the press, we also expect troublemakers on the drinks coming. Everyone must realize that this should not lead to negative publicity for our club and supporters. “

Along the supporters sang songs and were occasionally chanted slogans in unison. There were also fireworks and smoke bombs chipped, but ultimately were no clashes. Football fanatics walked along the Spui, the Market Square and the Tenderloin. The police called the action from the ADO fans after ‘successful’:

The ADO supporters club posted afterwards on Facebook: Mission accomplished. Today would actually be a match played by ADO against PSV in the Kyocera Stadium. However, that game was canceled because of police actions. The unions are dissatisfied with the police collective bargaining and implement actions for months
